Based at Timberlock on a separate cabin site, our program includes hiking, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, kayaking, tennis, swimming, horseback riding, rock climbing, wilderness skills, environmental awareness and a lot more. Our small size allows us greater flexibility and the ability to focus on individual needs. Two leaders and six to eight campers per session. Trips and activities are geared for the age group and ability level. Packed with learning and fun, we explore the Adirondacks while building self-confidence and developing lasting friendships. The leadership is caring and well trained. Many of our staff are graduates of the program.

The Voyageur two week program involves a combination of in camp activities and one extended canoe or hiking trip. The Trekkers ten day program involves a longer canoe or hiking trip with less time in camp.

Family Reunions

We frequently host family reunions during the earlier weeks in our season. The relaxed atmosphere, the mountain environment and the wide variety of activities available, provide the perfect setting for a family gathering. Each family has their own private cabin but gathers together for dining and activities. One of the cabins will be large enough for all family get togethers and a separate dining table for your group can be provided.

Fall Season

September 9 to 19, 2010

A wonderful time of year in the Adirondacks. The tinge of color is just beginning, nights are cool and the smell of woodsmoke is in the air. The days can be just delightful with the lake still warm enough for swimming and canoeing. Hiking is at it's best with fewer people on the trails and views of the changing forest. Loons are often seen congregating on the larger lakes before migration. Other animals are more visible as they collect food in preparation for winter. All accommodations are in cabins with bath. Picnic lunches packed daily.
